Bakery Packing Assistant

The Company

Bakeri Baltzersen is a wholesale and retail bakery operation that is part of Baltzersen’s, and is based 7km outside Harrogate at Springfield Farm on the A59 near Menwith Hill. We bake a range of long fermented sourdough loaves, rye, ciabatta and more traditional yeasted white and granary style loaves/rolls. We also bake pastry and vienoisserie from scratch.

The Role

As a Bakery Packing Assistant you will be part of our team of packers who slice bread and pick products each evening for wholesale and retail customers.

Packing and preparing the correct items within orders and delivering efficiently is absolutely vital for us to provide excellent service for our partners. The right person is able to concentrate for prolonged periods and has great attention to detail.

We are looking to employ multiple people in this role to cover shifts ranging from 7pm til 11pm from Tuesday to Friday. 

It's a great way to top up your earnings if you are working full-time or for someone who is not able to work during the day.

Transport

The location of the bakery and the times of the shifts mean that you need to have your own transport to get you to and from the bakery. Public transport is not an option.

Pay

The basic rate of pay for this role is £12.71/hr.

Trials

We'll be looking to invite potential candidates to the bakery to complete a short trial shift in the next week or two and are ideally looking for people that are ready for an immediate start.
