Decorating a gingerbread house (or Pepperkakehus) is a family tradition that is strong in Scandinavia and we've offered classes for the last 6 or 7 years here at the cafe.
2020 is a little different but we don't want you to miss out, so we're offering to do all the hard work for you by delivering everything you need to do this fun activity at home.
You kit includes:
A flat packed gingerbread house
A 12 inch cake board
Sweets to decorate
Allergens: MILK, EGG, GLUTEN, SOYA
One of the sweets for decoration is not suitable for vegetarians
In 2019 we were really pleased to be able to partner with local charity 'The Unity' (Registered charity in England and Wales (no 1188920) to offer a decorating session for families living with with disability, neurodiversity or from vulnerable backgrounds.
This year has been a very challenging for charities both in terms of fundraising and also delivery of services, so with this in mind we wanted to offer some support.
£2 from the sale of each house will be used to offset the cost of delivering gingerbread house decorating kits for families supported by 'The Unity' and any remaining funds raised will be donated to the charity.
